Churchill Gardens Youth Club Relaunch

On 11 March we re-launched the Churchill Gardens Youth Club.  After 6 months of refurbishment works and nearly £200,000 of investment the Club has been transformed with new equipment and facilities, including a recording studio.

Paddington Street

The works at Paddington Street and Chiltern Street are part of the Cycle  Quietway from Edgware Road to Fitzrovia and are scheduled for six weeks from the 24th of February to the 10th of April.

Cllr Nickie Aiken, as Leader of Westminster City Council, has been the instigator and promoter of Westminster's Anti-Idling Campaign.  New lamppost signage, promoting our anti-engine idling message to stationary drivers, are being installed at 200 hotspot locations throughout Westminster.

Clean safe streets in Marylebone

Your local Councillors do a regular Neighbourhood Audit which involves walking the streets with Council Officers and Veolia.  We have tasked the Street Sweepers with picking up litter from the Rain Gardens and we have a maintenance contract in place.

Infill programme

After successful lobbying from your local Conservative councillors new homes will be coming to the Lillington and Longmoore estate as part of the City Council's ‘infill programme’.

New public space in Belgravia

Earlier this year, a piece of land was given to the City of Westminster by the owner of Forbes House, the Grade II listed property on West Halkin Street. The land originally comprised part of the garden of Forbes House and will be located on Grosvenor Crescent.
