There has been a steady flow of good news at Marylebone Station. Last year we reported that the Conservative-led Council served a Noise Abatement Order (NAO) over Marylebone Station.
On Monday 14th January a major water pipe burst in Avenue Road causing flooding and loss of water to a number of properties on this road. Unfortunately a section of Avenue Road between Prince Albert Road and St Edmunds Terrace had to be closed and as a result traffic was diverted into the side
Fly tipping has been one of the biggest issues we have faced in Bayswater and local Councillors Richard Elcho and Emily Payne have unrelentingly lobbied the council on behalf of local people.

As we enter the New Year, there are a few areas that we would like to concentrate on. Although rubbish collection and the state of the streets and the pavements are generally very good, there are a few spots in the ward where waste dumping remains an issue.
The Council announced the decision to close CityWest Homes and bring the Council’s housing in-house on 20th September 2018. It will come back in-house on 1st April 2019.

Work has begun in earnest on construction in St Vincent Street (Howard de Walden development) and the Moxon Street Car Park (Concord Development).
