Robert Rigby has lived in St John’s Wood for over 30 years with his wife Emiko and has represented Regent’s Park Ward since 2010. He is committed to serving the community ensuring value for money and good services, working tirelessly to retain St John’s Wood and North Marylebone's unique character and appeal. He has also been Lord Mayor of Westminster (May 2024 - May 2025).

20mph trial launched across Westminster

20mph speed limits are being introduced at up to 40 schools and across 2 residential areas over the next year. This trial is part of our drive to create a safer, healthier and more pleasant environment.

Cleaning up dog fouling

Every dog owner has a duty to clean up after their dog in public places however not everyone does and this is incredibly frustrating and annoying for our residents.  We have the potential at the Council to issue an £80 fixed penalty but often it is not easy to catch the offenders. 

Coaches dropping off in Baker Street

Coaches provide an integral and vital part of London’s transport network with routes from around the country coming into the Capital with many passing through St John’s Wood.  A large number of coaches from Green Line to National Express make a stop in the southern part of our ward on Baker Str

Increased capacity for 274 bus

The 274 bus provides a valuable serve for those residents in Regent’s Park ward who live on the east side of the ward especially along Prince Albert Road.  A number of residents have contacted your local Conservative Councillors concerned about the overcrowding during the summer given this bus

The Star Public House planning application

Your local Councillors supported the concerns of many local residents around The Star public house and its planning application to install an overhead awning in its forecourt.

Targeting litter on Allitsen Road

Regent’s Park Conservative Councillors have been working hard to tackle a number of issues on Allitsen Road including the increase in litter following complaints from residents who are concerned on the impact this has been having.
