dog-fouling

Every dog owner has a duty to clean up after their dog in public places however not everyone does and this is incredibly frustrating and annoying for our residents.  We have the potential at the Council to issue an £80 fixed penalty but often it is not easy to catch the offenders.
On being recently contacted about issues of dog fouling on Chalbert Street and Hamilton Terrace, your local Councillors organised for new signs to be put up and targeted cleaning to take place.  In addition, in cooperation with Westminster’s animal warden a dog chipping and awareness day was held in Regent’s Park on Saturday 6th May.  If you wish to report any dog fouling or dog related issues please either contact us or visit https://www.westminster.gov.uk/other-dog-related-issues#dogissue
