274-bus

The 274 bus provides a valuable serve for those residents in Regent’s Park ward who live on the east side of the ward especially along Prince Albert Road.  A number of residents have contacted your local Conservative Councillors concerned about the overcrowding during the summer given this bus serves London Zoo, Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park.  We have been liaising with TfL who are responsible for the buses across the Capital about this issue and seeking a solution.

They have informed us the service has temporarily been enhanced from the end of March to the end of October by upping its frequency to cater for this increase in demand. TfL are planning to review potential permanent solutions when the contract for the route expires including the possibility to convert route 274 to a double deck bus. Your Councillors will continue to push TfL on this issue. One resident commented ‘Thanks for your support on this on-going issue’.
