Councillor for Vincent Square Ward
  • Councillors

David Harvey has lived in Vincent Square for nearly 30 years and has served as a Westminster City Councillor since 2010. He lives in the ward with his wife, Angela.

Professionally, David specialises in leading charities through difficulty or major change; strengthening governance, restoring financial stability and ensuring they better serve their communities and beneficiaries. He is also a volunteer director of a learning disability charity. He brings the same focus on delivery, accountability and community service to his council work.

At Westminster, he has held Cabinet responsibility for housing, education, economic development, environment and communities. Locally, his priorities are safer, well-policed streets, a Council that is accountable to residents, and creating local jobs.

David says, “Vincent Square is our home. I am committed to strong community safety, to ensuring residents shape what the Council does, services are properly delivered, and that this remains a great place to live.”

Contact David by email, or via the constituency office on 020 7730 8181.

Getting black bins the Piazza

A supporting hand for those sleeping on the streets
