Local community groups have asked if we can run a trial removing the big black bins from Ashley Place by the Cathedral Piazza. Conservative Councillors Chalkley, Harvey and Short have direct experience of how they are used to disguise serious antisocial behaviour. We are running a trial removal for a few months to see what behaviour changes this leads to. A letter has been sent by the Council to the residents in the surrounding streets and a consultation is being run. For further information and to share your views please email us.
