I have become increasingly concerned over recent months with begging in and around the Mayfair area of the Ward.
A number of residents have contacted me, and I have been working with the Council, as well as with the local Police, to deal with the issue.

As a Ward Councillor I take seriously the role the council must play in ensuring the safety of residents and visitors to our area.
It is for this reason that I was concerned to hear of an issue at Ladbrokes on Argyll Street.
Residents will be aware that central London recently played host to the hugely successful Lumiere Festival, and a number of lighting installations were scattered across the area, including across parts of Mayfair and Soho.
