Your local Conservative Councillors were contacted by residents living in Aberdeen Place & Cunningham Place about fast, dangerous driving along these roads as well as the continued pressure on resident parking bays in the area.
One of the complaints we hear most frequently relates to waste and dumping of rubbish. Our City Inspectors continue to issue fly-tipping fines in record numbers but this is still not achieving the desired long-term change.
“A number of residents have contacted the Conservative team about antisocial Air BnB tenants locally” says community activist Selina Short, “complaining of left out rubbish or anti-social noise”.
Following co-ordinated intervention by the Bathurst Action Group and court proceedings by Westminster City Council, a particularly anti-social landlord has now given up his lease on a Bathurst Street property that was being used nightly for noisy parties and other disruptive activity.
