Tim Mitchell has lived and worked in Westminster for over 30 years and is a self-employed computer consultant. He was first elected to Westminster City Council in May 1998 and has represented St. James’s since May 2002.

An active member of the St James's area community, he serves on the committees of several local groups including Covent Garden’s Jubilee Hall Trust and the Abbey Community Centre.

He has had experience of every part of the Council. Presently, Tim is Deputy Leader of the Opposition and sits on the Children & Adults, Public Health & Voluntary Sector Policy and Scrutiny Committee.
