Councillor for Pimlico North Ward

Jim Glen has lived in Pimlico for 30 years with his wife, Claire, and their three kids. He has served as a councillor since 2018 and is currently the Conservative lead for planning on the council.  Jim is vice-chair of governors of a local Church of England primary school, a trustee of Westminster Almshouses on Rochester Row and also a trustee of the Westminster Tree Trust. Jim is a keen cyclist and pedestrian, but also drives a car and is concerned about the transport options for all residents. He is passionate about Pimlico and preserving the natural environment, especially in a dense urban location like ours.

Sussex Street Play Area update

Earlier in the year, we presented a petition from local people to Westminster City Council asking for the Sussex Street play area to be converted into a publicly accessible green space for all.  Pimlico is severely lacking public green spaces, and this would be an excellent opportunity to use

Armed Forces Day across Westminster

Thank you to everyone who signed the petition to have Sussex Street Play Area redeveloped into a publicly accessible green space. Cllr Ed Pitt Ford, a Pimlico North Councillor, presented the petition at full council and this will now be discussed by the cabinet. Over 100 people backed the campaign
