'Back Our Campaign' Sussex Street image

Thank you to everyone who signed the petition to have Sussex Street Play Area redeveloped into a publicly accessible green space.

Cllr Ed Pitt Ford, a Pimlico North Councillor, presented the petition at full council and this will now be discussed by the cabinet.

Over 100 people backed the campaign.

If the council does decide to proceed with a feasibility study, then a full consultation would take place.

We will keep you informed.

  • 44% of respondents (including those who did not wish the area to be redeveloped) wanted a peaceful space to be created.
  • 73% of respondents opted for the existing white wall to be removed with 65% of people opting for black railings to replace the wall.
