Rainbow Flag

London celebrated Pride on 1st July. Council representatives, officers and councillors joined the Lord Mayor of Westminster in the parade through central London.

Cllr. Ed Pitt Ford commented, “It was heartwarming to see the huge variety of organisations represented in the parade and the massive support for LGBTQIA+ people.

If anyone has any ideas of how to support the community more locally in Pimlico then please do get in touch.”

According to research by Just Like Us, of Black LGBT+ young people (aged 11-18) 89% have experienced suicidal thoughts and nearly ⅓ of LGBT+ young people have self harmed.

If you need support you can call the Samaritans on 116123, you do not need to have credit on your phone and the number won’t show up on your bill.

Our Plan for Safe Streets

It's time for Safe Streets in Westminster

Wednesday, 1 April, 2026
Under Labour, crime has got worse. Phone theft, antisocial behaviour, public disorder and drug dealing have all increased. People think twice before using their phone on the street. Shopkeepers have accepted shoplifting as a daily reality. Families avoid their local parks. And schools have lost community police officers. All under Sadiq Khan’s watch as Westminster Labour have overseen managed decline.
