Hundreds of people living in Westminster have backed our campaign to save St Mary's Hospital Paddington. Cllr Paul Swaddle met Victoria Atkins MP, former Secretary of State for Health, at the hospital. The previous government was committed to the complete rebuilding of St Mary's.
Cllr Paul Swaddle is the Leader of the Conservative Group at Westminster City Council. He went to Park Lane this morning to see first-hand how the problem of the tent city is getting worse, and how the Labour-led Westminster Council and TfL is failing to take action.

Last Thursday, voters in Westminster's West End rejected Westminster Labour and elected Conservative Tim Barnes to be their local representative.
Tim, who served as a councillor between 2018 and 2022, gained this seat from Labour with a near 10% swing.
He secured 49% of the vote, Labour 38%, the Greens 7% and the LibDems 6% - showing that the Conservatives are the only effective opposition to Labour here.
