Rachael Robathan has been a ward councillor for Knightsbridge & Belgravia since 2010 and was the Leader of the Council from January 2020 till May 2022. Before becoming Leader, Rachael was a Cabinet Member for eight years holding the Adult Social Care & Public Health, Housing and Finance portfolios. 

Her previous career was in the City where she was an emerging markets fund manager for over 20 years. Rachael and her husband have lived in Westminster for over thirty years and have two children in their early twenties.
