2026 West End Candidate
  • Council candidates

Elizabeth Amos lives in the West End with her husband and their young son. She is a governor at a local primary school and an active member of the Soho Society.

She has worked as a lawyer for more than a decade, covering issues such as housing law, the legal responsibilities of local authorities and how to keep people safe. She has extensive voluntary experience as chair and trustee of several charities, including working with London boroughs to empower young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through education and training. Having grown up in one of the 10 per cent most deprived council wards in England, she is passionate about increasing opportunities for everyone.

Elizabeth says, "Whilst I love the bright lights of the West End, I understand the challenges faced by those of us living here. I care about my community and I want to preserve the uniqueness of the West End ‘villages’ whilst making sure that our local area is a cleaner, safer and fairer place to live."
