Residents of St. James’s ward deserve a council that gets the basics right: safe streets, clean neighbourhoods, transport that works for everyone, and public spaces that make Westminster a place we can all be proud of.
But when we speak with local people, we hear the same message: too many people feel less safe than they used to, police presence is too thin on the ground, and our streets are being left looking tired. Costs are rising, yet standards are slipping, and the Labour council simply is not listening despite seemingly endless consultations.
That isn’t good enough, and it doesn’t have to be this way. That’s why we’re standing as your local Conservative candidates this May: to bring a sharper focus on safety, cleaner streets, and a council that treats your money with respect.
Our priorities are simple, and they come straight from what you’ve told us:
- Safer streets, with visible local enforcement and action on anti-social behaviour.
- Cleaner neighbourhoods and better-kept public spaces every day, not just for special occasions.
- Value for money: every pound of council tax is focused on frontline services, not waste.
We’re ready to get to work, and we’ll keep listening all year round, not just at election time. If you back us, we’ll fight for the St. James’s you expect and deserve.
On Thursday, 7th May, please vote Conservative for real change in Westminster.
