Paddington Development

Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan has called in the planning application for three new tower blocks on the former Paddington Green Police Station site.

This application was rejected by Westminster City Council's planning committee in September, but the Mayor has the power to overturn this decision as he did last year for the 5 Kingdom Street skyscraper which will now tower over our area.

Your Little Venice Conservative councillors objected to the massing of the proposed buildings at the police station site, in particular the tallest 32-storey tower. We also expressed concern about the harm that would be caused by the development to the local Conservation Areas.

You can make a comment on the application for the Mayor's consideration here.
