Our Conservative Councillors
The 1963 London Government Act created Westminster City Council. Representatives were elected to form the Council the following year, with it assuming its powers in 1965. The Council was Conservative-controlled until the May 2022 elections.
There are 18 wards, or areas, each represented by three councillors, who are elected every four years.
Currently, there are 26 Conservative Party councillors, covering ten of the Council's wards. The other 28 councillors represent the Labour Party.
