We were delighted that the Westminster Tree Trust planted its 1000th tree in Marylebone

We were delighted that the Westminster Tree Trust planted its 1000th tree in Marylebone, a Ginko Baloba. We were delighted to welcome Alan Titmarsh to plant the tree, together with the Lord Mayor of Westminster and children from St Vincent's School. We will now have to wait about 20 years to find out if it is a male or female and even then it can change its sex!

Police tape with A Conservative Plan for Safe Streets

Westminster Labour is failing to keep you safe

Monday, 23 March, 2026
Crime in Westminster has risen under Labour's watch and local people are suffering the consequences. We spoke with the Conservative Leader of Westminster City Council, Cllr Paul Swaddle, to find out more. Paul explained, "Westminster Labour and Sadiq Khan's record on our streets is clear: phone snatching, robbery, shoplifting, public disorder and criminal damage are all up. Enforcement is nowhere to be seen. The Labour-led Council has just stood by as Sadiq Khan slashes police officers and staff across London: 1,700 Met officers and staff cut. Royal Parks Police: dismantled. School officers: removed. Local officers removed to cover demonstrations."
