How do you break down your cardboard boxes?

New “letterbox” paper and cardboard bins are being installed across Westminster, including this one at the junction of Sutherland and Warwick Avenues, encouraging residents to break down cardboard boxes for recycling.

In the UK, wastes 22% of its cardboard, contaminating it unnecessarily with food and other rubbish meaning that it cannot be recycled.
