Your Conservative Councillors continue to battle the scourge of uncontrolled short-term letting. Councillor Ian Adams said: "Our area is blighted by fly-tipping, noise and disruption due to too many short-term rentals operating like hotels throughout the year, instead of keeping within the 90-night a year limit. Westminster Council will continue to press Government for tighter regulation of short-term letting."

Short-letting often counts as a breach of lease conditions or mortgage conditions on the property, and can invalidate the insurance for a whole block. Contact Planning Enforcement at Westminster Council for sample letters which block management companies can send to leaseholders warning that they may be in breach.
