Montagu Square

Ward recycling centre hotspots continue to be closely watched and we can report there have been have been over 50 waste interventions over the past two weeks.

We continue to monitor the management of all our Recycling Centres including Montagu Square.

On Thursday 17th March your Councillors carried out a Clean and Safe Street Audit for the first time for some time. We will make sure City Inspectors continue to monitor the management of all the Recycling Centre and understand the importance of the recycling centre to residents at the South Side of Montagu Square.

Funding has been found to install a cycle hanger on the South side of Montagu Square. In addition, to help encourage less rubbish dumping around the recycling site planters will be installed shortly.
