Wendover Court

The developers with a Council Planning Officer in attendance gave a presentation on the proposed development.

There has been some initial consultation with stakeholders including residents of Wendover Court. A digital consultation is starting. A series of drop-in sessions are running on a fortnightly basis on site through late July and August, to be followed by a further wrap-up in early September for this phase of consultation.

Although the design of the building will be stepped, it could potentially cause some loss of light. The proposal is to demolish the building but an independent study is to be carried out to determine whether it is viable to keep a part of the existing building or to demolish entirely and which is best from a from a carbon offset aspect.

Not only would almost all materials be recycled they would actually be able to identify where the recycled materials end up. The development will be a joint venture with Derwent and the Lazarus. Presently Ping is occupying part of the building to be redeveloped in the next two years.

Our Plan for Safe Streets

It's time for Safe Streets in Westminster

Wednesday, 1 April, 2026
Under Labour, crime has got worse. Phone theft, antisocial behaviour, public disorder and drug dealing have all increased. People think twice before using their phone on the street. Shopkeepers have accepted shoplifting as a daily reality. Families avoid their local parks. And schools have lost community police officers. All under Sadiq Khan’s watch as Westminster Labour have overseen managed decline.
