St John's Wood Sign

The St John’s Wood High Street is a much-loved asset in NW8 and wider community but like most High Streets continues to change and COVID accelerated the pace of change.

Working with the St John’s Wood Society, Westminster City Council and other stakeholders, funding for a high-quality permanent scheme has been secured which will see widened footways, enhanced crossing points, more greening and a slight increase in parking for the benefit of local residents, retailers, restaurants, and visitors.

A public consultation is now taking place and will run until 20th April 2022, details of the scheme can be found here.
