Westminster Council is holding a consultation on introducing electric vehicle residents’ parking in Zone A, adjacent to existing lamp columns housing a recharging facility, enabling electric vehicles to recharge fully over a period of 8-10 hours.
A vehicle must be plugged into the recharging point while occupying the parking place with a maximum stay of 12 hours with no return on the same day. The proposed parking places would only be usable by electric vehicles displaying either a residents’ permit for “A” Zone or a Westminster “White Badge” disabled person’s parking permit.
