On 7th May you will have a choice about the future of Pimlico. Continued neglect under Labour, or action with the Conservatives.
We’ve all seen Pimlico deteriorate. The streets are messier, crime is up, our tube station is often broken or shut, Pimlico Proms cancelled, and repairs take forever. We’ve also seen a lack of investment into St George’s Square Dog Park and Gardens, and a failure to deliver the renovation of Pimlico Gardens.
This is before you get to the decade of destruction set to be caused by Labour’s plan for the Pimlico District Heating Undertaking (PDHU).
It doesn’t have to be like this, and the Conservatives have a plan to get the Council working for you again.
We will invest in more street cleaning and create a Cabinet Member for Enforcement to ensure those who break the rules are caught. We will actually stand up to Sadiq Khan over crime and cuts to our transport links. We will fund and restore the Pimlico Proms. We will deliver the improvements to Pimlico Gardens, and we will fix the dog park.
Finally, we will scrap Labour’s PDHU plans, go back to the drawing board, consult properly with residents and implement a block-by-block approach.
Recent polls show it is going to be really close here in Pimlico South, meaning if the Conservatives win here, we will most likely win back the council. So, on May 7th, the power really is in your hands.
Vote Conservative and Protect Pimlico.
