Emily Sheffield has spent her entire working life supporting and giving voice to Londoners. With nearly 20 years at the Evening Standard, where she rose to Editor-in-Chief, as a presenter on LBC Radio and as Deputy Editor of British Vogue, she knows both the challenges facing this city and the vast potential and talent it produces. She still regularly appears on the BBC, Times Radio and Sky News, and founded a communications advisory that helps grow London-born AI and technology companies.
Born in Paddington and raised in Notting Hill, Emily has worked in Westminster for 30 years and Bayswater has been her home ground since she was a teenager. She is standing to bring her journalism skills to bear on issues around local crime, to campaign for improved green public spaces, to keep streets clean, to combat drug-taking in church gardens and stairwells and to support the local businesses that provide jobs and vibrant high streets.
