Combat the anti-semitism emergency in Westminster

Anti-semitism has no place in Westminster or anywhere in our country.

The Jewish community in Westminster deserves to feel safe on our streets, in their synagogues and in their daily lives. That is not happening right now and it is not acceptable.

Westminster Conservatives are committed to delivering Safe Streets for every resident. That means visible enforcement, zero tolerance for intimidation and standing firmly alongside our Jewish community.

Westminster Conservatives back the national Conservative plan to combat the antisemitism emergency, including fast tracked prosecutions for those who promote hate and terror, stronger protection at high risk Jewish sites and no more tolerance for hate marches that glorify terrorism and intimidate Jewish people.

Cllr Paul Swaddle OBE, Leader of Westminster Conservatives, said:

"The Jewish community in Westminster must be able to live, worship and go about their daily lives without fear. That is a basic standard that is not being met and Westminster Conservatives will not look the other way.

Safe Streets means safe streets for everyone. If elected on Thursday, we will stand up for every community in this city and deliver the visible enforcement and zero tolerance approach to hate and intimidation that Westminster deserves.

If you want Safe Streets for every community in Westminster and a council that will stand firmly with the Jewish community, vote Conservative on Thursday 7 May.
