Ahmed Imtiaz moved to Westminster in 2017, initially living on a council estate for three and a half years. It was during this time that he developed a strong sense of civic duty and a determination to help make the area safer, fairer and better represented. Those early experiences continue to shape his commitment to public service.
A lawyer by background, Ahmed completed his LLB at SOAS, University of London, where he was elected to the Students’ Union, before being called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn. He now serves as Global Legal Counsel for a SaaS company, advising on international commercial, regulatory and technology matters.
Beyond his legal career, Ahmed is a regular attendee at policy forums and think tank events, reflecting his enthusiasm for economic affairs and political ideas.
