Save Oxford Street for Westminster residents!

Have your say: Save Oxford Street for Westminster residents!

Oxford Street is our local high street, but Labour and Sadiq Khan are giving it away.

Under their plan to pedestrianise Oxford Street, buses will be removed, and it will become harder for older and less mobile people, young families, and local residents to reach the shops and services they rely on.

The Labour-run Westminster Council rolled over and handed Oxford Street to Sadiq Khan without proper consultation. They even labelled the handover a non-major decision to block scrutiny, debate, or a call-in. Local people, disability groups, and councillors were shut out completely.

And when we asked for the postcode data from Sadiq Khan’s consultation, to show what local residents really think, he refused to release it. He’s hiding the data because he knows the people who live closest to Oxford Street don’t support his plans.

We believe Westminster’s residents, not people from across the country, should have the biggest say in the future of our local high street.

That’s why we’re asking you to speak up. Tell us your views and your postcode so we can show the strength of local opposition, defend accessibility, and stop Labour and Sadiq Khan from taking control of Westminster’s high streets.
