📱 Stay Safe This Christmas: Phone Theft in Westminster 📱
Christmas should be a time to enjoy our city, see friends and family, and feel safe on our streets. But under Labour, phone theft has spiralled out of control across Westminster.
Every year, more than 34,000 phones are reported stolen in Westminster alone. That is one phone stolen every 15 minutes. And many more thefts never get reported.
This crisis has become so severe that governments in the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore now warn their citizens about phone snatchers on the streets of London.
🥀 Yet Sadiq Khan and Labour-led Westminster have failed to act.
They have allowed this epidemic of phone theft to grow and left residents, workers and visitors exposed to organised phone snatching gangs.
This Christmas, Westminster Conservatives are urging everyone to stay aware and stay safe.
But safety should not depend on luck. It depends on leadership and real action.
Labour have lost control here in Westminster and across the country in government.
✅ Westminster Conservatives will deliver safe streets again.
If Westminster Conservatives are elected to lead Westminster City Council in May 2026, we will:
- Demand stronger visible policing in phone theft hotspots
- Push for tougher action on repeat offenders
- Deliver zero tolerance for phone theft across Westminster
- Stand up for residents, workers and visitors who deserve safe streets at Christmas and every day of the year
Westminster Conservatives will always put the people of Westminster first.
This Christmas, stay safe, stay alert and join our call for action on phone theft.
Back our campaign for safer streets in Westminster and hold the Labour-led Council to account on phone theft.
