On Wednesday 12 November, residents from Hamilton Terrace will present a petition to Westminster City Council asking the council to look again at the plans for the C51 cycle highway.
They are concerned that the plans will see the removal of one hundred and thirty much-needed parking spaces.
It will endanger the safety of pedestrians and also cyclists at dangerous junctions.
The council are using old data from 2018 to justify this costly scheme. Their preferred option, option three, we estimate will be in the region of £500,000. At a time when public finances are tight, this is entirely unjustified.
Hamilton Terrace is a quiet residential street. Let's ask the council to exercise some common sense and reconsider their designs.
