The Post Office has announced proposals to close their branch in Eccleston Street when the lease on the premises expires this September.
Local councillors Tony Devenish, Elizabeth Hitchcock and Rachael Robathan have joined forces with Nickie Aiken MP, Prospective MP Tim Barnes, local people, residents' groups and business representatives to express their concerns and to encourage people to join in the consultation and in calling for a review of this decision.
We are worried about the impact this will have on people living in our part of Westminster, particularly those who are elderly or have mobility issues.
If it were to close, the nearest branches would be in Lupus Street, Sussex Street or Royal Hospital Chelsea. We believe the loss of this service in Belgravia will significantly impact local people.
Please complete our survey below and take the time to join in the Post Office's formal consultation too. Together, we can show the strength of public opposition to these changes.
