Why we need a Mayor who listens

We don’t think Londoners are being listened to. You deserve to be heard. If you elect Susan Hall on Thursday 2 May, Susan will put more police on patrol, stop closing local police stations, and bring back borough-based policing.

This election is our chance to get a grip on crime by putting more police on the streets, stop Sadiq Khan's plans for 'Pay Per Mile', and fix Transport for London.

Sadiq Khan has already been running London for eight years.

As Susan explains

"Instead of listening and recruiting the extra police London needs, Sadiq Khan shut down police stations, like the one in Belgravia.

"So, crime is hitting record highs.

"We all know someone who has had their mobile phone stolen in the last few months.

"You deserve more than a ‘crime reference number’ when you report antisocial behaviour, thefts, or burglaries to the police."

Homelessness and rough sleeping is rising under Labour

Monday, 16 March, 2026
The numbers are stark. Homelessness and rough sleeping in Westminster are at record highs and is the highest of any council in the UK. The Labour-led council has allowed this crisis to get worse, with near year-on-year increases, without proper support to help people off the streets. This is the reality of life under this Labour-led Council: distracted by pet projects and headlines instead of helping vulnerable people who really need it.
