Your local Regent’s Park councillors are very concerned to hear about the potential loss of much valued social housing in Cochrane Street.
The Cochrane Street Residents Association have contacted us about the very real potential of all social housing tenants having to be moved and be relocated. This is because the lease on the land their Octavia managed property occupies, is due to expire in 13 years’ time. The Eyre Estate have indicated one potential scenario they are considering is to take back the land and redevelop the site with much reduced social housing.
Your local councillors are supporting those residents who are potentially affected and are seeking an urgent meeting with both Octavia and Eyre Estate.
