"Silver Sunday 2023: Bringing our Westminster communities together" - Cllr Jacqui Wilkinson

Silver Sunday - Sunday 1st October 2023 - gives people of all generations the opportunity to come together by hosting fun and free activities for older people, in Westminster and across the country.

We spoke to Pimlico North Councillor Jacqui Wilkinson about Silver Sunday 2023 and how people can find out more.

Jacqui explains,

"Silver Sunday was set up over a decade ago by my fellow councillor, former councillor Christobel Flight, as a special day with lots of events for local residents to come together, have fun, and help combat loneliness.

This year, we have over 70 events planned, and they're all in preparation at the moment.

So, if you want to find out more, this will be published in Westminster Plus, which is the special magazine which the Council sends out telling people about what's happening for Silver Sunday in Westminster.

And details will also be available on the Silver Sunday website at SilverSunday.org.uk

So I hope you have fun looking at what events will become available and making your bookings and coming along and joining with other people. And hopefully, I will be there joining as well.
