Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, has joined roles with Pimlico North councillors to secure astroturf pitches at two sites in Pimlico; Lillington & Longmoore Gardens and Abbots Manor.
Pimlico North Councillor Ed Pitt Ford said,
Pimlico is really lacking public green spaces, and we know that sports are really important in a child's upbringing for them to play, exercise and have a healthy life. We are really grateful to Nickie for her support in this campaign.
