Seymour Leisure Centre

Your Conservative Councillors have ensured that over the past four years the refurbishment of Seymour Leisure Centre has remained firmly on the agenda.

We are therefore pleased to report that the plans for the extensive improvement project are continuing at pace. Consultations on the latest proposals for the centre are due to commence with existing user groups, amenity societies and local residents. Enhancements to the existing leisure facilities will include the changing rooms, a new home for the Marylebone Library and a range of new family facilities such as soft play, sensory rooms and study spaces.

This next stage of consultation follows the two very well attended virtual meetings held earlier this year and will lead to a formal planning submission in the Summer. Meetings will now be held in person at the Seymour leisure centre, Marylebone library and via online platforms.

Whilst there are challenges when remodelling a Grade 2 listed building, in line with our strong commitment to the community, we are looking to create a new hub for both new and existing users to enjoy. The City Council have set out their commitment to delivering the project and have ring fenced a significant budget for the works. We look forward to seeing the exciting new plans for the centre over the coming months.

Our Plan for Safe Streets

It's time for Safe Streets in Westminster

Wednesday, 1 April, 2026
Under Labour, crime has got worse. Phone theft, antisocial behaviour, public disorder and drug dealing have all increased. People think twice before using their phone on the street. Shopkeepers have accepted shoplifting as a daily reality. Families avoid their local parks. And schools have lost community police officers. All under Sadiq Khan’s watch as Westminster Labour have overseen managed decline.
