We joined Knightsbridge & Belgravia local Councillor and the Leader of Westminster City Council, Rachael Robathan at the Ebury Bridge Regeneration Project. Rachael explains how this exciting project will make a real difference to local people.

I'm standing here on Ebury Bridge Road with one of our regeneration schemes behind us, the Ebury Bridge Estate.

What we're doing here is developing almost 800 homes over half of which will be affordable for local people. Really good local homes for local people.

And you can see behind me the pop-up outlet which are providing business opportunities for new local businesses. Really great opportunities.

So this is a development which is for the local community and is going to provide the homes and work opportunities that we desperately need.

You can find out more about Cllr Rachael Robathan and the Knightbridge & Belgravia Action Team online.

It's time for Safe Streets in Westminster

Wednesday, 1 April, 2026
Under Labour, crime has got worse. Phone theft, antisocial behaviour, public disorder and drug dealing have all increased. People think twice before using their phone on the street. Shopkeepers have accepted shoplifting as a daily reality. Families avoid their local parks. And schools have lost community police officers. All under Sadiq Khan’s watch as Westminster Labour have overseen managed decline.
