Garfield House - Detailed Plans

Garfield House

Garfield House extends from 80 Edgware Road to the corner of George Street 110 Edgware Road  and includes Tesco. Portman Estates are looking to demolish this building and replace it with its first carbon neutral development run on alternatives to fossil fuels.

Within the site, internally the plans for the building incorporate sustainable timber to replace steel and concrete as far as possible, retail premises and a new community hub. Externally there are plans to increase greening and improve areas around the back of Edgware Road such as, around Sourcliffe Street.

A planning application is expected to be submitted late spring so do view more detailed plans on the consultation website here.
