We know that many households are still recovering from the aftermath of the storms of July 2021.
We continue to help and assist many residents who have been battling with Thames Water during the subsequent months. It has been a major concern that many affected residents have not been contacted by Thames Water and they are still unaware of all the homes that have been damaged due to the storms.
Thames Water are conducting a review which will report later this year and your Conservative Maida Vale candidates will be tracking that report to ensure that it provides the long-term solutions that are needed to stop such events reoccurring in the future. We are also pushing for an urgent plan and agreement from Thames for ‘non return valves’ to be urgently fitted to the most at risk properties in our area.
