Many residents have mentioned the management of our Recycling Centres. We can confirm that these are being closely watched and significant number of Fixed Penalty notices and Warning Letters have been issued.
This has resulted in noticeable improvement around Boston Place, George Street, Shouldham Street and Chapel Street.

At the York Street recycling centre, fly tippers, who unloaded builders' rubble from their vehicle, were caught red-handed and fined. A Neighbourhood Police officer was in the area and was able to support enforcement action.
