Dockless Bikes

Many local people have drawn attention to the anti-social parking of dockless bikes.

To be clear, no operators are permitted to operate in Westminster under any forms of agreement and abandoned dockless vehicles are subject to removal or seizure.

Fining systems are in place to discourage users from parking and abandoning bikes illegally. There is a code of practice for parking dockless bikes but to better manage and enforce these schemes throughout the capital further works are in progress.

The Council prioritises walking and cycling activities above all else and any dockless vehicles abandoned in such a way to cause immediate danger to the public can be reported through the Environment Action Line on 020 7641 2000.
