Autumn is here with the start of Westminster City Council's leaf clearing plan.
In Eccleston Square, Pimlico, work has been underway clearing up fallen leaves to ensure that our pavements are safe for pedestrians. It's a problem each year that the Council is well accustomed to dealing with.
Cllr Jacqui Wilkinson explains: "This vital work will continue throughout Westminster for the next four to six weeks during which time about 1,000 tonnes of leaves from our streets will be collected in addition to the usual levels of litter."
