Victoria Square Gardens

Following a planning refusal by Westminster City Council and a Public Enquiry by the Planning Inspectorate, the Housing Minister Christopher Pincher has granted planning approval for Adjaye Associates and Ron Arad’s Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre in Victoria Tower Gardens.

Many local people opposed the application saying that it is a "great idea but in the wrong location". Your St James’s Ward Councillors, we have supported the Save Victoria Tower Gardens (SVTG) campaign group and will remain in close touch with them as the details of the planning decision are reviewed.

Shopkeepers have accepted shoplifting as a daily reality. Families avoid their local parks. And schools have lost community police officers. All under Sadiq Khan’s watch as Westminster Labour have overseen managed decline.
