Making cycling just that bit safer

Cycle Lane

We all recognise the need to make cycling as safe as possible so where cycle lanes have been installed it is important to ensure the road markings are clear and prominent. 

On a recent walk about with the Cabinet Member for City Management your local councillors identified the cycle lane on Avenue Road had worn away so needed repainting.  

We are glad to say that this was carried out and the many cyclists who use this busy road can now feel just that bit safer.
