Social Distancing in Parks and Squares

The Ward is fortunate in having three squares. However, residents using these green spaces should bear in mind the current risks to themselves and others of touching anything (e.g. gates and handles) as they come and go. Using sanitiser on the gates and locks before and after touching them will help reduce viral transmission between you and your neighbours. Hands should always be washed immediately on your return home, in line with Government guidance.

All residents are reminded of Government guidelines to help save lives:

  • No group of more than two people should be seen together unless they come from the same household.
  • People from different households should be 2 metres apart.
  • The only approved purpose for people to be allowed onto open spaces is for exercise.
