Christmas Lights

Your Little Venice councillors and local traders helped to bring some additional festive cheer to the shopping parade on Clifton Road by supporting Christmas lights that illuminated the street over the end-of-year period.

Your councillors secured funding for the decorations with local retailers also making contributions. A special switch-on ceremony took place on 3 December where the Lord Mayor of Westminster officially turned on the lights and the choir of St. Saviour’s CE Primary School provided musical entertainment. Several of the Clifton Road shops offered customers Christmas food and drink to mark the occasion.

BBC London - Westminster Council demands a full environmental impact assessment on Oxford Street

Saturday, 29 August, 2026
