Fleming Court

Your Little Venice councillors have been working with residents of Fleming Court to design an appropriate scheme that will protect local people in their homes and ensure that anti-social behaviour incidents will no longer happen in the courtyard.

We are delighted to report that works will start in the first week of February to install a new vehicle and pedestrian security gate. There will also be new security doors for each entrance and a door entry system for each flat to operate each block door and the security entrance gates. The works should take around two months.

In addition, there are also CCTV cameras being installed in the Fleming Court courtyard area.

We appreciate the patience of residents in waiting for these improvements to happen, but we are pleased that our efforts on your behalf will deliver these much needed security measures.

Labour cut 1,000 police officers in London, breaking their promise to keep our streets safe

Monday, 25 August, 2025
Labour’s decisions are making our streets here in Westminster less safe. In just one year, new figures show that London has lost over 1,000 police officers - and that includes officers taken off our streets here in Westminster. Across the country, Sir Keir Starmer has left our police forces with a £350 million funding black hole, forcing cuts and slashing recruitment by 17%. That means fewer neighbourhood officers, slower response times, and overstretched teams who are being asked to do more with less. Forcing our police to pick and choose which crimes they respond to is simply unacceptable.
